The deepest tier, and where most groups of ten to twelve should look first.

Bedrooms, not guest count
The mistake that spoils large-group bookings is filtering on capacity and discovering the bedroom count does not match how the group is actually made up. Twelve guests in five bedrooms and twelve in six or seven are different holidays at a similar headline price — six couples fit one and not the other.

Verbier has nothing, and nor does Courchevel, which tops out at 16. Where to put a big group
Large groups are usually mixed groups, and in Verbier that argues for the walk-to-village neighbourhoods over the centre. Patier and Les Esserts give you space and quiet with the village still on foot; the centre is louder than a family group generally wants at the scale of fifteen people. What staffing does at this size
At fourteen-plus a chalet host, a chef and a concierge stop being luxuries.
