Luxury Chalets in Morzine

Morzine is a traditional Haute-Savoie village within the Portes du Soleil, one of the world’s largest linked ski areas, connected by gondola to Avoriaz and resorts across the France-Switzerland border. Our chalets sit in Montriond, a quieter village beside Lac de Montriond a few minutes from Morzine’s lifts and center — a lower-key base for groups who want the Portes du Soleil terrain without staying in the busiest part of the resort.

Montriond offers a quieter, more residential setting than central Morzine, a few minutes’ drive from the main lift network and Morzine’s restaurants and shops, with the lake and surrounding trails as an additional summer draw.

December through April is ski season, with the most reliable snow typically January through March. June through September brings the Portes du Soleil’s summer season — hiking and mountain biking, with the area’s bike parks drawing riders from across Europe.

Geneva Airport (GVA) is the primary gateway, approximately 1 hour 15 minutes by road to the Morzine/Montriond area.

The Portes du Soleil links Morzine to Avoriaz and ten other resorts across France and Switzerland on a single lift pass, covering a wide range of ski terrain and abilities. In summer, the same lift network opens for mountain biking — Morzine and Avoriaz are established bike-park destinations — alongside hiking trails around Lac de Montriond.
