Villa The Pala is the larger of the two sister villas on the Pandawa Cliff Estate, about two kilometres from Pandawa Beach. A double-height entrance of carved gold, red and sea-green wood leads to a house built for big gatherings: a 20-metre infinity pool beside an expansive lawn, a barbecue pit and a stone amphitheatre, with events for up to 400 guests possible by prior arrangement.
Day to day it is a six-bedroom family house sleeping twelve — a master with a private balcony, four guest rooms with king or split-king beds, and a lower-floor suite with twins that convert — all en-suite, with a kids’ playroom, an in-villa spa, indoor and poolside lounges and a TV lounge. The estate’s tennis court, squash court and gym are open to guests.
