Villa Azul Celeste is a three-bedroom oceanfront villa on the South Shore of Puerto Vallarta, about four miles from town, looking straight out over Banderas Bay. Three levels, three king bedrooms all opening onto the pool terrace, and full staff including a private chef, for up to six guests.

The living, dining and kitchen area is open-plan and flows out to a wide terrace. The heated infinity pool sits on the bedroom level with the bay in front of it, and the sunsets from that terrace are the reason most guests remember the house.

A private stairway leads down from the villa to the beach. Whether the beach is usable depends on the currents and the tide on the day, so conditions are worth checking before anyone swims or takes a kayak out. There is no lifeguard at the beach or at the pool.

Whales are often in the bay through the winter, and dolphins pass through regularly in summer — both visible from the terrace rather than needing a boat.

The staff are the other half of the experience: a chef who cooks two meals a day, a houseman and a housekeeper, Monday to Saturday.

Open, layered interiors

Level one holds the entrance, the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, and a guest bathroom. Level two is the pool terrace and all three bedrooms.

Every bedroom has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a smart television and its own en-suite bathroom. There are three smart televisions in the house for streaming, Wi-Fi throughout, a telephone with free local calls, and a Bluetooth music system covering the main living area and the pool terrace.

02 — Outdoor & Pool

Designed for the day outside

The heated infinity pool sits on the bedroom level with Banderas Bay directly in front of it, on a terrace wide enough to hold the whole group for sunset. All three bedrooms open onto it.

The pool is heated to approximately 84°F from 1 November to 1 May.

A private stairway runs down to the beach. Access depends on currents and tides and is not guaranteed on any given day — check conditions before swimming or using kayaks. No lifeguard is on duty at the beach or the pool. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only.
