Villa Veranda is a four-bedroom villa in Upper Conchas Chinas, set in the hills above Puerto Vallarta with ocean views and a short taxi ride between it and Los Muertos Beach, the Romantic Zone and downtown.
The villa is named for the room that defines it. On the main level, the living and dining areas open onto a wide covered veranda that runs the width of the house, shaded through the day, with steps leading straight down to the heated infinity pool and sun terrace. Three of the four bedrooms sit on this level and open onto it.
Four bathrooms serve the four bedrooms. Three bedrooms are en suite; the fourth has a dedicated bathroom immediately next door rather than inside the room.
The villa comes with full staff: a chef, housekeepers and a villa manager who doubles as concierge and is available before arrival to arrange the details of the stay. Staff service runs daily except Sundays and some holidays.
Villa Veranda can be booked as a three-bedroom or a four-bedroom rental, which makes it work for a couple or two travelling together as readily as for a family of eight.
The main level is the heart of the house: living and dining areas that open directly onto the covered veranda, with the kitchen alongside. Air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout the bedrooms, Wi-Fi, and a telephone with free local and long-distance calling.
Three of the four bedrooms are on this level and open onto the veranda. The fourth is the top-floor master, which has the house to itself.
The covered veranda is the villa’s main outdoor room, extending from the living and dining areas and deep enough to sit out of the sun through the middle of the day. Steps lead down from it to the heated infinity pool and the sun terrace beside it.
The pool is heated to approximately 84°F from 1 November to 30 April. Between 1 May and 31 October heating is available for an additional fee rather than as standard.
Two of the bedrooms have private terraces of their own with ocean views. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only.
