Villa del Sol is the family house on Cozumel’s north coast. Four bedrooms take ten guests, or up to twelve when four of them are children, and the layout is built for that mix: a ground-floor suite with two queen beds opening onto the pool and deck for the family with young children, a king master upstairs with its own balcony over the ocean, and two more rooms upstairs, one king and one with two queens and a balcony.
The house is modern and two storeys high, and the ocean is in view from almost every room, from the living and dining areas through to the fully equipped kitchen. Sliding doors open the ground floor onto a wide patio with an outdoor dining table and an oceanfront pool, 20 by 8.2 feet, that looks straight out to sea.
Beyond the pool, a cabana and sun loungers sit on a virtually deserted stretch of white-sand beach with direct access from the property. Kayaks and beach towels are provided, and the coast faces the sunrise.
Every bedroom has its own bathroom, air-conditioning, hairdryer and Wi-Fi. The ground-floor suite and the master have safes; the master also has a ceiling fan and a TV. Purified drinking water, a flat-screen TV and ceiling fans cover the rest of the house.
Daily housekeeping and pool maintenance are included. A chef, grocery pre-stocking, concierge planning and sports and adventure activities can be arranged at additional cost.
Three miles from the town centre, Villa del Sol keeps the beach empty and the restaurants close. For families who want their own sand and a pool the children can be watched from the kitchen, this is the house. Enquire for availability.
For groups of up to 24, this house and the adjacent Villa Grace can be booked together as Villas Solil, with both pools, both kitchens and the same stretch of beach.
