Coral Vista is a three-storey house on 100 feet of white sand on Grand Cayman’s North Side, about 7,000 square feet, new-built, and sized for groups of up to 24. The reef lies less than 100 feet off the beach with a shallow lagoon inside it, so snorkelling starts from the sand.
The ground floor is one open room under 10-foot ceilings – family room, dining table and kitchen all facing the water – with a games room alongside it for pool and the wet bar. Outside, the pool runs to a 50-foot infinity edge over the beach, with a tanning ledge and a swim-up bar under a gazebo. There is an outdoor kitchen with a grill and a pizza oven, a table for 22, a fire pit and a cabana on the sand.
What sets it apart from other large Cayman villas is the top two floors: an entertainment room with Skee-Ball, air hockey, bubble hockey and ping pong, then an arcade, a popcorn concession and an 11-seat stadium-style cinema. Groups with children tend to use these more than any other room in the house.
Ten bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms, including three oceanfront king suites and a king suite with a connecting nursery. Five kayaks, snorkel sets in every size, water shoes and life jackets are kept at the house for guests to use.
