Constellation Dragon sits on a tropical hillside in Costa Careyes, part of the cluster of Spanish-style castillo architecture the destination is known for. The villa is set within a gated community with 24-hour security, and its architecture is built around a soaring central palapa that shelters the main dining and living areas, open to the sea breeze on all sides.

A full live-in staff — including a butler, a private chef, and housekeeping — is included with every stay and has its own separate quarters on the property. The villa sleeps up to 10 guests across five bedrooms: four ocean-view king suites with sliding glass doors onto private terraces, plus a fifth bedroom with two queen beds.

Inside, Constellation Dragon uses a restrained palette of crisp white walls, dark wood furniture, and tailored bed linens. The kitchen is fully equipped for guest use, with a dishwasher, oven, stove, and a Nespresso coffee maker, and a media room with a television and two sofa beds gives the villa a dedicated indoor space for children or a quiet evening in. A dedicated workspace with Wi-Fi and an ethernet connection, premium cable TV, and a washer and dryer round out the practical amenities. Bathrooms follow the same minimalist style throughout, each with a bathtub and hot water.

The heart of the villa is a soaring open-air palapa that shelters the main dining table and an L-shaped lounge area, oriented to catch the evening sea breeze. A suspended wicker seating structure built for two hangs from the palapa’s peak. A sundeck surrounds the infinity pool below, and the rooftop terrace opens to a 180-degree view over the jungle and the Pacific. The grounds also include a patio and open lawn with outdoor furniture and lounge chairs, an outdoor dining area, a hot tub, an outdoor shower, and tropical gardens.

Four of the five bedrooms are outfitted with a king-size bed and their own en-suite bathroom — three with a standalone shower and bathtub, and one with a standalone rain shower — and open through sliding glass doors onto a private, ocean-view terrace.
