Chalet Markhor sits in the centre of Val d’Isère, about ten metres from the snow front and thirty from the Village lift. Six en-suite bedrooms sleep fourteen across 580 square metres, with the ski school meeting point two hundred metres away.
The main living space occupies the top floor: a living room with a large fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen built around a central island, and a dining area with a wood-burning stove. The terraces look out to Bellevarde or Solaise.
The bedrooms are spread across the levels rather than grouped on one floor. Three en-suite double suites and the master sit on the first floor, one double bedroom is on the ground floor, and a bunk room with its own bathroom and terrace is on the level below. The master has a dressing room and a bathroom with a bathtub and a double shower.
The wellness area holds an indoor swimming pool, a hammam and a sauna, alongside a sports room fitted with a rowing machine, a bike, a treadmill and a punching bag. There is a bar beside the gym and a cinema room on the lower level. A ski room with boot warmers, a garage and two parking spaces sit at the service end.
Markhor is let with staff on a half-board basis: a chef preparing breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner, a butler for meal service, and a housekeeper for daily cleaning. Food and drink are arranged separately, so the menu is built around the group rather than fixed in advance.
