Destination Profile

Tulum

Tulum is the Caribbean coast at its most seductive — a stretch of white sand and turquoise water on Mexico’s Riviera Maya where the jungle runs right to the beach, Mayan ruins sit on a cliff above the sea, and the villas are among the most distinctive in the country. Our homes here span the full range: beachfront estates on the sand, architectural jungle villas with private pools hidden among the trees, and staffed retreats on the quiet bays north of town. Most combine natural materials, palapa roofs, and open-air living with the polish of a fully serviced home. What makes Tulum unlike anywhere else on this coast is the mix of nature and design. The clifftop ruins are the only Mayan site built on the sea; the freshwater cenotes inland — Gran Cenote, Dos Ojos, and dozens more — offer some of the world’s best cavern swimming and diving; and the vast Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage site, begins just south of the beach road. Above it lies a famously bohemian-chic scene of beach clubs, wellness and yoga retreats, and a restaurant culture that has become genuinely world-class. Tulum rewards travelers who want beauty and character rather than a resort strip. The villas suit families, groups of friends, and celebrations who want space, privacy, and service — homes with private chefs, housekeeping, and concierge planning, many beachfront or with jungle pools, and some large enough for weddings and milestone gatherings. Access has transformed since Tulum International Airport opened, putting the beach around thirty minutes from arrivals, with Cancun a comfortable drive north. Share your dates, group size, and whether you want a beachfront estate, a jungle villa with a private pool, or a quiet home on Soliman or Tankah Bay, and we’ll send a curated shortlist of Tulum villas, with every rate, service charge and booking condition itemized in the written quotation.

How many guests does Casa Luna sleep?

Casa Luna sleeps up to 40 guests across 12 bedrooms, with 15 bathrooms. What a group can comfortably use depends on the room-by-room configuration rather than the bedroom count alone, so we confirm the layout against your party before you book.

Where is Casa Luna located?

Casa Luna is in Tulum Town & Jungle, Tulum. We can confirm drive times from the airport and what is within reach on foot before you commit to the location.

How close is Casa Luna to the beach?

Casa Luna is not on the water itself, but the beach is within walking distance. We will tell you which beach and roughly how long the walk takes before you book.

How much does Casa Luna cost, and how do we book?

Rates are quoted per stay rather than published as a single number, because they move with the season, the length of stay and the size of the group, and taxes and fees vary by destination. Send your dates and we confirm availability and the rate with the owner before anything is charged.

Every stay is concierge-handled. Chef, transfers, wellness, excursions, provisioning — all coordinated through a single specialist.
