Casa Entre Rocas

Casa Entre Rocas sits on 1.5 acres of oceanfront in Punta Estates, the gated community inside Punta Mita with 24-hour security and controlled access. The house was designed by Guillermo Michell with interiors by Sofía Aspe and looks across to the Marietas Islands and the Bahía de Banderas. The owner lists 15,200 square feet, seven suites and sleeping for 16, and describes the villa as child- and accessibility-friendly.

The two ocean-view primary suites have private terraces; the first has two rain showers, a bathtub and two toilets. Two more king suites, Green Sunset and Blue Seaside, each have an outdoor tub, and the Tranquility Suite has a king. The two family suites (one named Family Ocean) each have two double beds and two twin beds with a shower bathroom, which suits parents sharing with children.

Outside, the infinity pool and jacuzzi face the ocean, and a second pool set up for volleyball sits in the garden. The beachfront palapa has a bar and an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven, there is a sky lounge with a fireplace for sunset, and a beach fire pit with seven surfboards and seven paddleboards. Inside are a cinema with a 115-inch screen, a game room with a pool table, a gym with Peloton equipment and a steam room, a cold plunge, a spa, and a yoga garden that converts to a basketball court. A separate kosher kitchen is available.

Staff works 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.: house manager, Chef Badir Hazael and a sous chef, waiters, mixologists, a butler, housekeeping, laundry, grocery stocking, a chauffeur, 24-hour concierge and gated security. Extra staff hours are US$20 per employee per hour.

What costs extra: food, beverages and service charges are billed on top of the rental, with menus and the grocery list agreed with the chef before arrival. Airport transfers are arranged by the house manager and paid to the provider. Guests have access to five Punta Mita beach clubs, tennis and pickleball; golf is priced by the Four Seasons club. The owner does not describe swimming conditions in front of the house, so we confirm them for your dates.
