Is Casa Ballena oceanfront?
No. It has ocean and golf course views from elevated ground inside the gated community. The Punta Mita Beach Clubs are minutes away by cart and beach access is part of the included membership. If beachfront is the requirement, ask us for our oceanfront Punta Mita properties instead.
What does the included golf membership actually cover?
Both Jack Nicklaus signature courses, the Punta Mita Beach Clubs, and the tennis and fitness facilities. Tee times are arranged through the concierge and are subject to availability, as at any club.
How does Punta Mita compare to Los Cabos or Puerto Vallarta for a golf trip?
Punta Mita is a single gated community with two Nicklaus courses inside it, so you are not driving between resorts. Puerto Vallarta is forty minutes south with more restaurants and nightlife; Los Cabos is a different coast, drier, with more courses but further apart.
Is a car necessary?
Not inside the community — the six-passenger cart covers it. For Sayulita, San Pancho or the airport, the concierge arranges transfers.
