Casarena stands on the beach at Punta del Burro, a few minutes from Punta de Mita village. Six en-suite bedrooms sleep up to 14 guests, and the house has seven bathrooms in total, so a family or group can share the villa without anyone feeling short of space.
Life here moves between the sand and the pool. The pool has its own bar and grill, a palapa gives shade through the afternoon, and one of the two dining rooms looks straight out to sea. When the sun is high, there is an entertainment room for films, a gym and a spa indoors.
A chef, bartender, waiter and housekeepers look after the house, breakfast is prepared to your taste each morning, and a concierge and a six-seater golf cart are there for trips to the village, the Burros surf break or the golf course at Litibú.
