— Pedregal is a gated residential community on the granite hillside directly above downtown Cabo San Lucas, with cobblestone streets and walking access to the marina and the town’s restaurants. The nearest swimming beach is Médano Beach, under a mile away. The Pacific beach below Pedregal has heavy surf and is not suitable for swimming. The house is on several levels with stairs between them, and a car is recommended.
The gold dome that gives the villa its name is visible from much of Cabo San Lucas, rising from the Pedregal hillside above the marina. From the house the view runs across the Pacific, the marina and the Sea of Cortez, and every one of the six bedrooms shares it from its own balcony.
Four primary suites sit in the main house. Two casitas, each with a kitchen and a separate entrance, suit a couple or relatives who want their own space. The living room has vaulted, open-beam ceilings and a stone archway, and opens to a landscaped terrace with a large pool; the jacuzzi is a level below, with an underwater window into the pool. Housekeeping is included.
