Villa Cendrawasih is in Petitenget, the stretch of Bali known for its beach clubs, dining and boutiques, and a hidden garden door leads straight from the grounds to the beach near Mozaic and Potato Head. Jalan Petitenget’s shops, bars and restaurants are about a kilometre away.
The house is contemporary — white walls, Palimanan stone floors, timber accents, impressionist artworks and Indonesian artifacts — with an 18-metre pool at its centre, a gym and a rooftop terrace with sunset views over rice paddies and the ocean. Five bedrooms sleep ten: a master with a freestanding bath and walk-in rain shower, three king guest rooms, and a TV room that converts to a fifth bedroom with a sofa bed. A private chef is part of the house.
