Destination Profile

Kauai

Kauai is the greenest and most dramatic of the main Hawaiian islands — the Garden Isle, older and lusher than its neighbors, ringed by cliffs, waterfalls, and some of the archipelago’s most beautiful beaches. Our villas gather on its two best coasts: the sunny south around Poipu, with its calm swimming beaches and resort amenities, and the verdant north around Princeville and Hanalei, where a perfect crescent bay sits beneath emerald mountains. Most are indoor-outdoor homes with pools, close to the sand, set against Kauai’s signature backdrop of ridgelines and rain-fed green. Kauai is for those drawn to nature over nightlife. The Na Pali Coast — its fluted sea cliffs reachable only by boat, helicopter, or foot — is among the most spectacular coastlines on earth; Waimea Canyon, the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” cuts deep into the island’s west; and the north shore’s Hanalei Bay offers gentle surf, a historic pier, and taro fields framed by waterfalls. Snorkeling, kayaking the Wailua River, and hiking define the days. The villas suit families and couples who want beauty, calm, and the outdoors with the comfort of a private home — houses with concierge planning, in Poipu or the Hanalei area. Kauai’s Lihue Airport connects through Honolulu and with some direct mainland flights. Filmmakers have long used Kauai’s valleys as a backdrop, and much of the island remains protected and undeveloped. Zip-lining, tubing the old sugar-plantation channels, and boat trips along the Na Pali Coast round out active days, while the south and east coasts stay sunny when the north sees its rain. Share your dates, group size, and whether you want sunny Poipu or the lush north shore around Hanalei, and we’ll send a curated shortlist of Kauai villas, with every rate, service charge and booking condition itemized in the written quotation.

How many guests does Ke Kai Nui sleep?

Ke Kai Nui sleeps up to 11 guests across 4 bedrooms, with 4.5 bathrooms. What a group can comfortably use depends on the room-by-room configuration rather than the bedroom count alone, so we confirm the layout against your party before you book.

Where is Ke Kai Nui located?

Ke Kai Nui is in Kukuiʻula, Kauai. We can confirm drive times from the airport and what is within reach on foot before you commit to the location.

How close is Ke Kai Nui to the beach?

Ke Kai Nui has the water in view from the property, but it is not on the beach — a road or another property sits in between. If feet-in-the-sand access matters to your group, tell us and we will point you to the beachfront properties instead.

How much does Ke Kai Nui cost, and how do we book?

Rates are quoted per stay rather than published as a single number, because they move with the season, the length of stay and the size of the group, and taxes and fees vary by destination. Send your dates and we confirm availability and the rate with the owner before anything is charged.

Every stay is concierge-handled. Chef, transfers, wellness, excursions, provisioning — all coordinated through a single specialist.
