Ganesha is the kind of beach house families come back to: the pool sits between the house and Flamands Beach, and a private staircase from the deck drops straight onto the sand, where a shaded lounge looks out to Chevreau Island.
Renovated in a contemporary island style over two levels, it has an air-conditioned open-plan living room, an air-conditioned kitchen and dining for eight inside or under the pergola. Kayaks, paddleboards, life jackets, a ping-pong table and a gas barbecue are all part of the house.
Upstairs, the master suite has its own terrace over the beach; a second double room opens off the living room, and the children’s room has a queen bed and two bunk beds.
