Chalet Barolo

Chalet Barolo is a six-bedroom chalet in Courchevel 1850, built in 2020 and arranged over four floors with an internal lift. It sleeps twelve across six en-suite bedrooms and 300 square metres.

The position is the first thing to know: thirty metres from the Epicea piste, a red run dropping to Courchevel Village and Le Praz and opening the rest of the Three Valleys. The nearest lift is 150 metres away, and the Croisette hub, ski school meeting points and the restaurants and shops of 1850 are around 400 metres, or a five to ten minute walk.

The second is the wellness floor – an indoor swimming pool, an indoor jacuzzi, a hammam and a private massage room. Among six-bedroom chalets in 1850 that combination is the differentiator, and it is what makes the house work on a weather day as well as a ski day.

It is self-catered, which is a deliberate choice rather than an omission. Daily cleaning, beds made before arrival, linen, slippers and bathroom products are all included; a chef and meals are not. Groups that want full board should look elsewhere in the collection.
