The shared rooms run to indoor living and dining areas, a cinema room, a games room with a pool table and foosball, and a bar. The kitchen is Oaxacan in style and built around an open-fire oven.

The spa side is unusually complete for a villa: sauna, steam room, cold plunge, ofuro bath and massage cabins, with a gym alongside them.

Two pools – a double-line lap pool and a panoramic pool – plus a jacuzzi, a terrace, an outdoor living area, sun umbrellas and a barbecue.

The beach is reached directly from the property. Eight bicycles and two six-seat golf carts are provided for getting around the estate.

Capacity is eighteen – sixteen adults and two children. Seven king rooms take fourteen adults, and Lluvia holds the remaining two adults and the children. The minimum stay is three nights, or seven over the holiday season.

The house can also be taken at six bedrooms for twelve guests, or any size up to the full eight. Whichever you book, the property is yours alone for the stay, with the same staff and the same run of the house.

What is included in the rate beyond the house and the staff?

The owner includes a set of experiences: a four-hour sail with an open bar, chef-prepared food, paddleboards and snorkelling gear; a closing dinner on the final evening built around a signature menu created for the villa by a guest chef; a private photography session; a sixty-minute massage for each guest; a ninety-minute sound healing session; a hands-on cooking class with the chef; and a guided shopping trip to Sayulita. Is the chef service full board?

A professional chef and a kitchen assistant work 9am to 9pm and build the menu around what the group eats. Groceries are charged separately and are not part of the rate - pre-stocking can be arranged at additional cost. Laundry and dry cleaning are also extra.

How many guests does it take, and is there a minimum stay?

Eighteen: sixteen adults and two children. Seven of the eight bedrooms are kings, which accounts for fourteen adults, and Lluvia - two bunk beds and two full beds - takes the rest. The minimum stay is three nights, and seven nights over the holiday season.

What are the wellness facilities?
