Destination Profile

Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic pairs the Caribbean’s best beaches with world-class golf and some of the region’s largest private estates. Our villas concentrate in the country’s premier gated communities on the east and southeast coasts: Punta Cana and Cap Cana, with their marina, beaches, and Punta Espada golf, and Casa de Campo near La Romana — the storied 7,000-acre resort with its own Teeth of the Dog course, marina, and Altos de Chavón village. These are estates built for space. A typical villa here is a staffed compound — private pool, gardens, often a golf cart, and views over a fairway, the marina, or the sea — designed for families, golf groups, and celebrations. Cap Cana and Casa de Campo both offer private beach clubs, marinas for fishing and day charters, and championship golf steps from the door, while Punta Cana’s long white-sand beaches and warm, calm water make it one of the Caribbean’s most reliable family destinations. Beyond the resorts, the country rewards exploration: Saona and Catalina islands for boat days, the reefs and mangroves of the southeast, and the DR’s famously warm hospitality and merengue-and-bachata culture. Punta Cana International Airport is one of the Caribbean’s best connected, with direct flights from across North America and Europe, so arrival is straightforward even for large groups. The villas suit those who want a self-contained luxury base — homes with full staff, private chefs, and concierge planning, inside secure gated communities. Humpback whales gather off the Samaná peninsula each winter, an easy add to a longer stay, and the calm, shallow shorelines make the country a dependable choice for young families. Share your dates, group size, and whether you’re drawn to Punta Cana’s beaches, Cap Cana’s marina, or Casa de Campo’s golf, and we’ll send a curated shortlist of Dominican Republic villas, with every rate, service charge and booking condition itemized in the written quotation.

How many guests does Casa Ipanema sleep?

Casa Ipanema sleeps up to 12 guests across 5 bedrooms, with 6 bathrooms. What a group can comfortably use depends on the room-by-room configuration rather than the bedroom count alone, so we confirm the layout against your party before you book.

Where is Casa Ipanema located?

Casa Ipanema is in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. We can confirm drive times from the airport and what is within reach on foot before you commit to the location.

How close is Casa Ipanema to the beach?

Casa Ipanema has the water in view from the property, but it is not on the beach — a road or another property sits in between. If feet-in-the-sand access matters to your group, tell us and we will point you to the beachfront properties instead.

Can we have a private chef at Casa Ipanema?

Yes, a private chef can be arranged at Casa Ipanema. Chef service is booked on request and quoted separately from the villa rate, so it is never assumed to be included.

Who is Casa Ipanema best suited to?

Casa Ipanema works particularly well for families with children and large groups traveling together. Tell us how your group is made up and we will say plainly whether this villa fits, or point you to one that does.

How much does Casa Ipanema cost, and how do we book?

Rates are quoted per stay rather than published as a single number, because they move with the season, the length of stay and the size of the group, and taxes and fees vary by destination. Send your dates and we confirm availability and the rate with the owner before anything is charged.
