Amancaya Estate is set in a lush garden of palms and local shrubs on the hillside above Anse des Cayes. It is a surf beach rather than a calm swimming bay, and the estate sits above it rather than on the sand, which is what gives the pools and terraces their ocean view.

The two villas are booked together as one property. Amancaya is the larger house, Balinese in style, with high ceilings and wide openings to the trade winds. Cozy Amancaya is smaller and more modern. Each has its own kitchen with a breakfast bar, so meals can be shared across the estate or kept within one villa.

Villa Amancaya’s living room sits under a high ceiling, furnished with deep sofas, armchairs and cushions and opened wide to the outdoors. Cozy Amancaya has its own living room in a more modern style, a quieter place to retreat to. Each villa has a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar.

Designed for the day outside

Two infinity pools are surrounded by loungers and seating, with the ocean view beyond. Covered terraces hold outdoor dining areas for meals in the breeze, and smaller private seating corners are tucked into the garden. Beside the pool, an ajoupa houses a massage table, and there is a fitness room facing the ocean.
