The Alps are the world's benchmark for chalet skiing — the mountain range where the modern catered-chalet experience began, and where Europe's grandest resorts still set the standard for terrain, service, and style. Our chalets concentrate on four of the range's most storied villages, split between France and Switzerland: Courchevel, the crown of the Three Valleys and the largest linked ski area on earth, with 600 kilometers of piste on a single pass; Megève, the most elegant address in the French Alps, developed by the Rothschild family in the 1920s as France's answer to St. Moritz and still defined by village charm rather than purpose-built resort scale; Verbier, the Swiss Alps' great all-rounder, a sunny, south-facing village at the gateway to the 4 Vallées and more than 400 kilometers of terrain; and Zermatt, the most iconic of them all, a car-free village beneath the Matterhorn with some of the highest, most snow-sure skiing in Europe. Each resort has its own character — Courchevel's polish and altitude, Megève's old-village elegance, Verbier's sociable, sun-soaked terrain, Zermatt's glacier skiing and total absence of cars — but all four share what defines an Alpine chalet holiday: ski-in/ski-out or near-slope access, catered service with a private chef, and a concierge team who handle lift passes, transfers, and dinner reservations before guests arrive. The Alps reward travelers who want serious skiing paired with serious comfort. Our chalets are staffed private homes built for families, ski groups, and multi-generational gatherings, most sleeping four to twelve, with boot rooms, hot tubs, and open-fire living rooms standard at the upper end. France and Switzerland sit an hour or two apart by road, so travelers sometimes pair a French and a Swiss resort in one season, and our concierge can help plan the logistics. Share your dates, group size, and which resort suits you — Courchevel's scale, Megève's elegance, Verbier's energy, or Zermatt's iconic peak — and we'll send a curated shortlist of Alpine chalets, booked direct with no platform fees.
