Villa Tambuuco is a stone villa in the gated community of Playacar Phase 1, about 100 meters from the beach and set between Mayan ruins and the Caribbean coast. The house is built in an early-20th-century, Mediterranean-influenced style with high ceilings, and its gardens are shared with an ancient Mayan temple site once used by the indigenous population before crossing to Cozumel island.
The six bedrooms — Cuija, Tizoc, Pilon, Palomar, the Master Bedroom, and Master Bedroom 2 — each have a king bed, a hammock, and air conditioning. Villa Tambuuco is the tallest house in Playacar, and its rooftop terrace overlooks the surrounding neighborhood.
The main living room includes a piano and space to work or read, and the dining area is where the on-site cook prepares meals. The Master Bedroom can double as a media room or an office for guests working during their stay. Three bedrooms have a smart TV, every room and bathroom has a USB charging port, and the kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery for 20 or more guests, a blender, a toaster, and a waffle maker.
