Villa Palmerie sits on a large walled and landscaped lot in Cajuiles, on the west side of Casa de Campo, where the streets are quiet and the lots are generous. Everything is on one level: the great room opens to the garden on both sides, with palms on one side and the pool on the other, and five bedrooms sleep up to ten guests.
A housekeeper and a cook are included in the rental, so breakfast and meals at the villa are handled by the house staff (food and beverages are paid separately).
The great room is the centre of the house: glass on all sides lets the garden in, potted palms and original artwork fill the space, and it stays cool during the day. All rooms are on a single floor, with no stairs to manage.
Most of the day happens between the great room and the covered terrace, which works as a second living room under a timber-slatted roof, with a lounge area at one end and a long dining table at the other, a few steps from the pool. The pool is long enough for real laps, with a row of loungers in the shade along one side, and the whole garden is walled for privacy.
