Tortuga B10

Tortuga B10 sits in Tortuga Bay, one of the residential areas inside Puntacana Resort & Club, a gated resort roughly a ten-minute drive from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). The villa looks onto the golf course and is designed in a tropical, colonial style.

There are four bedrooms for up to 10 guests, children included, and every bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and a TV. On the ground floor, Bedroom 1 has two full beds. Upstairs on the second floor are the master with one king bed and Bedrooms 3 and 4, each with two queen beds. The villa has five bathrooms in total. Inside are a dining room for 12 and a full kitchen; outside, a terrace, garden, outdoor pool and outdoor kitchen with barbecue.

Daily maid service is included, and at least one member of staff stays at the villa around the clock, in a separate staff area. A concierge is assigned after booking, and arrival includes private check-in, welcome drinks and snacks, and Frederic Malle bathroom products. A complimentary round-trip airport transfer from PUJ can be arranged on prior request, subject to the transport provider’s availability. A private chef is not included but can be added at an extra nightly charge with 48 hours’ notice. Gratuities of 8% to 10% of the rental amount are expected.

Resort facilities, some at extra cost, include the La Cana and Corales golf courses, two beach clubs, seven restaurants, racquet sports, a spa and a kids club.

Trade-offs to know before booking: this is not a beachfront villa. Playa Blanca beach is about seven minutes away by golf cart and La Cana Beach and Golf Club about five, and golf carts are rented separately. Carts cannot leave the resort, so the supermarket and Puntacana Village, each about seven minutes away, need a car. Three of the four bedrooms, including the master, are upstairs, so the only ground-floor room has two full beds. The house is non-smoking, pets are not allowed, quiet hours run from 10 pm to 8 am, and the person booking must be 25 or older.
