Kide Lodge is a modern timber lodge in the Ylläs ski area, about 500 metres from the ski resort and roughly 600 metres from the Länsiraja lift and the Ylläs 1 gondola. Slopes, cross-country trails, shops, rentals and restaurants are close by, with Lapland Hotels Saaga restaurant around 400 metres away. Kittilä Airport is about 39 km away and Rovaniemi Airport about 167 km.
Every stay comes with the lodge’s own hospitality team: a private chef, a VIP driver-host and daily housekeeping. A loft bedroom has its own window for watching the northern lights.
Minimum stay is 4 nights, or 5 nights between 15 December and 4 January.
The first floor is the main living level, with an open living area with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, three en-suite bedrooms and the lodge’s own sauna. On the ground floor there is a private studio apartment with its own entrance, kitchen and bathroom, plus an after-ski dressing and utility room with a drying cabinet and electric boot dryers, and a garage. There is Wi-Fi, a TV, a hi-fi system and a wireless speaker.
A 16 m² glazed terrace with heaters opens off the first floor, and there is a private yard and private parking.
Next to the lodge, a separate 39 m² sauna building with a traditional Finnish sauna, a lounge with fireplace, an outdoor jacuzzi and an open-air bonfire hut can be booked for private use. This is booked separately for an additional fee and is subject to availability; it is not included as standard.
Five bedrooms over three floors.
Ground floor: the studio apartment, a room that can be set up as a double or twin, with its own bathroom, kitchen and private entrance. It suits a couple, grandparents or a nanny who want their own space.
First floor: three en-suite bedrooms, two that can be set up as double or twin and one with a queen-size bed.
Second floor: a loft bedroom, double or twin, with a window for watching the northern lights. The loft has no bathroom of its own.
A baby cot and high chair are available on request.
Every stay is fully staffed and runs on full board: the private chef prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, planned around your group’s tastes and dietary needs.
The base package also includes daily housekeeping, a VIP driver-host with private transfers available up to 10 hours a day, northern lights hunting with your host, private activities planned from a sample itinerary, premium thermal clothing for every guest and a welcome package on arrival. Anything beyond the base package is confirmed in your quote.
