00 — Overview

Chalet Le Chemin is a brand-new chalet in Val d’Ayas, in the Aosta Valley, a few minutes from the village of Champoluc. It stands among old forest with views across the Italian Alps, and it is about a 10-minute walk to the Champoluc lifts, the gateway to the Monterosa Ski area.

The chalet is built on three levels and sleeps up to 8 guests in three bedrooms, plus 2 more on a sofa bed in the media room. A dedicated house manager and concierge look after the stay, with daily morning housekeeping and a linen change twice a week. Book it on the standard rate, or all-inclusive with a private chef for breakfast and dinner, afternoon tea after skiing, and pantry essentials and soft drinks included.

The main living space

The ground floor is one open space with floor-to-ceiling windows: a living area with a fireplace, TV and sofas, a modern kitchen with an island, and a long dining table with a view. The lower level is given over to wellness and downtime: a media room with Xbox, PlayStation and a minibar, a small sauna, a small steam room, a heated ski room, a winter wardrobe area and internal access to the private garage for two cars.

Built around the mountain

Panoramic balconies run the length of the chalet, looking over the forest and the surrounding peaks. Outside there is a fire pit, and from the wellness floor you step straight out to a heated jacuzzi.

03 — Bedrooms

Sleeping for 10

Three bedrooms sleep 8, and a sofa bed takes 2 more:

Ground floor: a double bedroom, with a bathroom on the same floor.
First floor: the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and a writing desk facing the forest, opening onto the panoramic balcony.
First floor: a bunk room with two bunk beds (4 guests) and its own bathroom, best suited to children or younger guests.
Lower level: the media room sofa converts into a double bed for groups of 9 or 10, with its own bathroom.

Good to know: half of the bedroom places are bunks, so the chalet suits families best; 8 adults would mean four of them sleeping in bunk beds. Ask us for exact bed sizes.

Two ways to stay. Standard: exclusive use of the chalet and wellness area, a dedicated house manager and concierge, daily morning housekeeping, luxury linens and courtesy amenities, and a linen change twice a week. All-inclusive: everything in the standard rate plus a private chef for breakfast and dinner, afternoon tea and snacks after skiing, and pantry essentials and soft drinks. The all-inclusive rate is priced for 8 guests, with a supplement for the 9th and 10th.
