Set on Route des Chalets above central Méribel, Himalaya is one of the few large chalets here where the skiing starts in the garden: the blue Doron run passes about 50 m away and leads straight down to La Chaudanne. Inside, 720 m² over four lift-served floors holds seven en-suite bedrooms, an indoor pool with jets, a hammam, massage room, compact gym, tiered cinema and wine cellar, with a hot tub outside.

The layout favours couples and families — all six adult bedrooms have fixed double beds — which makes it a natural fit for multi-generational ski weeks.

The main living space

The heart of the chalet is a double-height lounge around a central wood fire, glazed floor to ceiling towards the peaks and opening into a dining room with valley views that seats the whole party. A second lounge with a grand piano and fireplace, a library corner and a wine cellar give quieter spaces. A guest kitchen sits by the dining room, while the chef works from a separate professional kitchen.

Downstairs are an indoor jet pool facing the garden, a hammam, a massage room and a compact gym, plus a tiered cinema seating eight.

The top-floor king suite has a fireplace, dressing room and balcony; the floor below has two more king suites with fireplaces, dressing rooms and balcony access, plus a fourth king bedroom. On the lower floor are two doubles with shower rooms and a children’s room with two singles and a bunk bed. Adult rooms are fixed doubles, so twin requests should be raised at inquiry.
