Casa Pelagia is a five-bedroom villa on a single level, directly on the water at Tankah Bay, a quiet bay just north of Tulum. Each bedroom has a double bed and its own bathroom, and floor-to-ceiling glass opens the living room to a heated infinity pool above the shoreline. The honest point to know before booking: the sea entry in front of the villa is over rocks and reef, not sand. It is excellent for snorkeling with reef shoes, less suited to toddlers wanting a sandy beach; Soliman Bay is within a mile. A chef, babysitting and massage can be arranged on request.
