Casa Mandarina

Casa Mandarina stands in Lagos del Mar, one of Punta Mita’s gated residential sections, along the 8th and 9th fairways of the Jack Nicklaus Pacifico Golf Course. From the house you look over the course to the Pacific. The architecture is bold and modern, and the villa takes its name from its orange color.

Five en-suite bedrooms sleep up to 10 guests, with seven beds in total across the rooms. The manager does not publish which room has which bed, so if your group includes several couples who each need a king, tell us and we will check the plan.

The house runs with a small dedicated team: an on-site concierge, a housekeeper with daily service, a butler and a chef. Breakfast and lunch prepared by the chef are included; private chef dinners are available for an additional fee. A six-seat golf cart is included for getting around Punta Mita.

Outside, a private heated pool sits at the center of the terraces, with a fire pit for evenings and space for meals outdoors, and the views take in both the fairways and the ocean. The living areas open onto the terraces.

The villa is not on the sand. Guests can use the Residents’ Beach Club and nearby resort facilities with prior reservations or applicable fees, and we arrange those before arrival. If you want to step out onto a beach each morning, a beachfront house will suit you better; if golf views, a heated pool and staff-cooked breakfasts and lunches are the priority, this one fits.
