Families are the point of Casa Happy Paws, an oceanfront villa in Ranchos Estates with seven suites for 16 adults and 2 children. Three suites sit in the main house and four in a two-story guest house, including two designed for parents traveling with a young child and a bunk room for older kids.

Service is included: a house manager, concierge, chef, kitchen staff, waiters and daily housekeeping. Around them are a 20-meter pool on the lawn above the sea, a spa with sauna, steam room and hot and cold plunge pools, and a gym.

Evenings move to the entertainment wing, with a private cinema and a game room built around a two-lane bowling alley, pool and poker tables and a full bar, or up to the Sky Terrace and its stone fire pit.
