Culzean Castle Castle - WELCOME TO CULZEAN CASTLE, AYRSHIRE, SCOTLAND Incredible cliff top castle on the spectacular west coast of Scotland. With it’s period architecture and views towards The Isle of Arran, Culzean Castle is the perfect place to make incredible memories. WEDDINGS Adam’s mastery of form in his radical adaptation of this castle, originally dating from 1590, has created a grand, impossibly romantic backdrop for modern events. Set in nearly 600 acres of beautiful countryside with woodland walks, inviting sandy beaches, terraced gardens and charming follies, this is a unique and inspirational setting for entertaining guests. Grand and prestigious or intimate and relaxed, the options at Culzean are endless. CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS AT CULZEAN The castle’s experienced team is keen to promote Culzean and develop relationships with the business community and would be pleased to tailor a package to your requirements. Corporate packages include exclusive use of Culzean’s conference facilities, with stunning views over the Firth of Clyde towards Arran. From April to October, the castle is available for private hire from 4.30 pm. In winter, it can be available for functions throughout the day. Some rooms in the castle and other buildings around Culzean’s beautiful grounds can be hired at any time for a more self-contained event and at a more modest fee than that for the whole castle. The charges reflect the Trust’s primary purpose of conserving Culzean for people’s enjoyment, now and into the future. ACTIVITIES The castle stands in nearly 600 acres of Ayrshire’s finest woodland and coastal walks. Some of the best golf in Scotland is close at hand at Turnberry, Royal Troon, Prestwick and Western Gailes. Culzean Country Park boasts no less than five kilometres of magnificent coastline. From the sand dunes at the south end of the park to the rugged rocky shoreline, pitted with rock pools, caves and rock arches, the shore and beaches of sand and shingle stretch all the way to Croy Shore, the northern boundary of the park. Culzean is in the heart of Burns country, a central base for visiting the poet’s haunts. There are also other National Trust for Scotland properties within easy driving distance of the Castle. Activities such as horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, fishing and sailing can be arranged for guests. Please ask if there are any other activities that might be of interest.
