Punta Mita Casa Querencia welcomes you from the moment you arrive. Designed by architect Jaime Barba, known for some of the most beautiful homes in coastal Mexico, it offers dramatic beach view and cool ocean breezes from every room.
One of the only homes for rent in Kupuri Punta Mitas newest most exclusive enclave Casa Querencia vacation villa sits atop a hillside/beachfront double lot, with pools and cascading private gardens all leading down to the undiscovered, soft white sands of Kupuri Beach.
Warm, melon-colored walls, colorful fabrics and traditional Mexican artwork create a vibrant, yet relaxing ambiance. Furnishings have been handcrafted by local artisans using native tropical hardwoods. Lines blur between indoors and out, with the main palapa open on one side to the deep blue Pacific, and on the other to a lush palm garden with a soothing stone water fountain, and flanked by tropical pathways.
Private spaces beckon — a Tuscan-style pizza oven patio shaded by orange trees; a colorful sun terrace with a daybed nook perfect for midday napping or sleeping under the stars; a giant marble outdoor tub set in a private garden.
Perfect for multiple families or large groups, Casa Querencia accommodates 20+ guests. Each of the seven air-conditioned suites offer private terraces facing the ocean, and are furnished with comfortable daybeds so guests can read or nap while others swim and play nearby. Bedrooms feature flat-screen TVs and are appointed with authentic Mexican artwork and traditional furnishings in artful patterns and palettes.
The master suite boasts 180-degree views from a wraparound terrace, an exquisite master bath that includes both indoor and outdoor showers, and a small office located just off the formal entryway.
Two other guest suites feature king-size beds, dramatic ocean views and large, luxurious baths. A fourth suite overlooking the pools has two queen beds, and a bunk room just off the pools sleeps six, with indoor and outdoor showers. In addition, a loft above the media room sleeps four on pullout futons.
Closer to the beach, two private casitas offer luxury, privacy and proximity to the waves. The upper casita, Casita del Mar, has sweeping views of the ocean and mountains, while the Casita del Jardin is tucked into the garden and just steps from the beach. Both have marble soaking tubs and outdoor/indoor showers, as well as private terraces, a wet bar and coffee station.
The main palapa features a water channel running its length and spilling into the cocktail pool, which in turn cascades into the infinity-edge lap pool and adjacent Jacuzzi.
A sandy hammock terrace beckons from the pools and, just below, a grassy lawn leads to a private path, winding from the main house past the casitas until it meets the cabana, opening onto Kupuri Beach on the other side. Along the way, you’ll find a luxurious fire pit surrounded by pillowed seating and its own wet bar, as well as a basketball court. Add in your own private beach cabana stocked with paddle boards, kayaks and boogie boards, and you won’t run out of things to do here.
The premier Kupuri Beach Club is just steps away, while the Resident’s Beach Club, two Jack Nicklaus golf courses, tennis and fitness center, and restaurants and surf shops in town are all a quick golf cart or bike ride away.
