Villa Plumbago stands out as a fabulous example of a classic West-Indies villa that can easily compete with modern-day architecture. Designed to take in the breezes and views at every turn, the timeless and stylish interiors feature splendid attention to detail, with high-end furnishings providing every comfort for your stay.
Sitting on top of a hill facing both east and west, Villa Plumbago enjoys terrific views both east and west. With all-day sun, this private villa is a wonderful place to lounge around, gazing out at the sparkling Caribbean across the lush, landscaped gardens. Restaurants and shops in Gustavia are only around 10 minutes by car.
The Space
Traditional West Indies architecture and design sparkle in Villa Plumbago (PBO), a luxury rental property that is full of high-end furnishings, antiques, and art. All of it is very carefully kept, giving the house an air of timeless elegance. A centerpiece is the large pink chandelier in the majestic living room, but that is only one of many details that set the home apart.
Located at the far end of Colombier, Villa Plumbago has excellent privacy and striking views. Windows and glass doors all around allow people in any room to look out over the sea and the well-maintained garden. There is also a view in the back, over Flamands beach.
The social heart of the villa is the large living room and spacious, well-appointed kitchen with its bar and barstools. There is a small office or TV room in the back. Outside, the terrace continues the feeling of grand, easy living. The heated infinity pool is more than 60 feet long and surrounded by ample seating and lounge chairs. There are also seating areas in the gardens around the property.
Each of the bedrooms has its own garden or terrace as well. Two of them are on the main level, in separate bungalows that align with the swimming pool. Each of these has a romantic four-poster bed and an ensuite bathroom, and the first master bedroom has a large dressing area, couches, and chairs.
The second master bedroom is below the first, and it also has a four-poster bed, large dressing area, and ensuite bathroom. It has a separate sitting area with a sleeper sofa, making it a good option for parents with children. The last bedroom is in its own building, with two twin beds that can be made up as a European king-size bed.
The lower level also has a hallway leading to the covered parking area and a game room with a ping pong table, full bar, sectional sofa, and satellite TV.

Please note that you may not bring outside staff into the property under any circumstances unless pre authorized by our concierge team. We are happy to host children of all ages. That being said, it is the responsibility of the guardian or parent to monitor their children AT ALL TIMES to avoid accidents. The house may contain areas where the children may require special surveillance, such as swimming pools, stairs and balconies. In the jungle the presence of mosquitos is usually common, so we recommend bringing mosquito repellent. We also fumigate regularly to help keep the mosquitos at bay.
