This is how to do understated luxury. Chalet Pierrys is a traditional style luxury ski chalet in Morzine, France, where the simple becomes something special.
The property is decorated in neutral, muted tones, employing natural materials such as wood and stone for a calming feel. Hide throws, faux fur cushions and luxurious linens combine with oak furniture and a roaring fire to make this luxury ski chalet into the ultimate snowy hideaway to share with friends.
It is close to some of Europe’s most desirable slopes, and Chalet Pierrys is every bit as chic as Morzine itself. Attentive staff and a raft of top-of-the-range gadgets, from Apple TV to a Wii, bring contemporary luxe to this traditional property and make life here just so easy.
You’ll wake each morning to a hot drink at your bedside, easing you into the day, and a delicious cooked and continental breakfast downstairs.
In the afternoons, on your return from the slopes, gather around the roaring fire in the impressive stone fireplace in the living area, cosied under luxury throws and tuck into afternoon tea together. Then take yourself off for a gruelling soak in the outdoor hot tub on the sunny south-facing terrace. You poor things.
Once fully recharged, why not slip into something wonderful in time for an Aperitif and canapés round the fire while your chef prepares a slap-up four course gourmet meal? The oak refectory style table is the perfect backdrop for wine-fuelled talking and eating with friends. Round off the meal with local cheeses, ports and perhaps take your after-dinner drinks out onto that terrace to see the spectacular panoramic views and the stars twinkling over Morzine.

Double bedrooms with king-size/twin beds; en-suites shower rooms.
Bedrooms six and seven (Family suite)
Double bedrooms with king-size/twin beds which interconnect and share an en-suite shower room. (Bedroom seven features a sloping roof and is therefore more comfortable for use by children, but can also be used by adults if desired).
Please note that one of the bedrooms has been equipped with a wet room and extra width doors to allow a wheelchair through.

Your private chef is available throughout your stay at Chalet Pierrys to keep you well fed and watered.
A cooked and continental breakfast is served in the mornings and when you arrive home from the slopes, afternoon tea will be waiting for you.
Later in the evening, you’ll be offered pre-dinner drinks, beers or even your choice of spirit alongside delicious canapés while your chef prepares your meal.
A four-course meal, ending with local cheeses and ports finishes each day on a high. Local, seasonal ingredients, imaginative menus and international flavours are the order of the day here but your wish is their command. With dinner a range of wines, matched to the menu, will have been selected for you.
The concierge team will be in contact to take details of any likes and dislikes and any children in the party will be considered and catered for just as carefully as the adults.
On staff days off, Morzine has a wealth of wonderful restaurants to choose from. Your chalet host will be more than happy to make recommendations and dinner reservations.
Little ones are made very welcome here, your private chef will be happy to prepare separate children’s meals so that everyone is catered for.
A Wii Motion Plus and Apple TV will keep them busy on afternoons when they’re in the chalet, but Morzine itself is a very family friendly destination with lots to keep children amused.
Nannies and babysitters can also be provided so the adults can enjoy the après ski unhampered.
