So beautifully designed, it’s almost a work of art in itself. Chalet Auriane is a luxury ski chalet in the small town of La Tzoumaz, adjacent to Verbier and in the heart of the 4 Valleys ski area, that is sure to give style-seekers and ski bunnies alike goosebumps!
This luxury ski chalet was designed to give guests the experience of a luxury boutique hotel, but with all the space and privacy of a traditional chalet. The architect-designed property has been renovated by the renowned architect, Hugh Berry (also responsible for Fortnum & Mason). Stone, steel and wood give an industrial-chic backdrop and quirky decoration and art pieces give the chalet a fun, eclectic style all of its own.
Unfeasibly huge and comfy sofas, festooned with cushions and throws, make the living room an easy place to sprawl out and relax in, whether you want to dive under a blanket and spend the afternoon watching a film, or gather with friends before the roaring fire to share your experiences of the day. Over in the dining area, a long table sits beneath a statement light fitting – a talking piece, if one were needed, while you enjoy your Heston-style food and fine wines! Stunning views make the shared living spaces a total joy.
A spacious wellbeing room with a Hammam and sauna as well as an outdoor hot tub makes this chalet ideal for relaxing in post-ski. And if your purpose here is some top-quality R’n’R, you can follow up your spa afternoon with a pampering session in your own room.
Each beautifully designed en-suite bedroom has stacks of fluffy towels as well as Apple TV with more than a thousand films waiting to be watched. Curl up under a blanket and make the most of your snowy retreat.

Master bedroom on top floor with en-suite bathroom, TV and private balcony.
Bedrooms two, three and four:
Double bedrooms on ground floor with en-suite bathrooms and TVs.
Bedroom five:
Quad bunk room (with adult sized bunk beds) on ground floor with en-suite shower room and TV.
Please note that bedrooms 1-4 have fixed double beds and cannot be split into twins.

Your private Michelin 2* trained chef will contact you before your arrival to discuss your food requirements. Meals can be as fancy or laid-back as you wish, from four-course gourmet extravaganzas to comfort food served on the sofa in front of a roaring fire.
On six mornings, you’ll be brought tea or coffee in bed to begin the day gently, before a hearty breakfast is served to get you ready for a day out on the snow and on the staff day off its a help yourself affair. While you are out skiing, an afternoon tea is prepared and laid out for your return.
In the early evening, drinks and canapés are served in front of the roaring fire. Grab a snuggly throw and relax with your party while your chef prepares a creative and delicious dinner for you to enjoy. The chef has various specialities and enjoys using local and seasonal ingredients.
For any children in your group, the chef can prepare an earlier children’s tea so that mums and dads can relax post-bedtime knowing little ones are well fed and tucked up in bed already.
Different styles of wine are served alongside your meal each night, and there’s also an a la carte list for you to choose from if you prefer.
Children are made very welcome at Chalet Auriane. They’re sure to enjoy splashing in the hot tub and the quad bunk room is a really cosy space for little ones to be tucked up in at night.
Staff are on hand to make sure both small guests and their parents have everything they need to enjoy a relaxing break here. The chef puts on an early children’s tea each evening and childcare is available on request at the crèche just 100m from the lift.
The chalet’s location is ideal for families. The La Tzoumaz resort is a little quieter than neighbouring Verbier and is a great spot for beginner-skiers to learn. To avoid the need for traipsing long distances in snow boots or waiting for a snow bus, you can travel the 20m to the blue ski run down to the main lift via a private funicular lift.
