Enjoying a central position in the pretty village of Le Fornet – an increasingly popular area of Val d’Isère for those in the know – this brand new luxury apartment is just a few minutes’ walk from the Fornet ski lift, which provides quick access to the superb skiing on the Glacier du Pisaillas. Decorated to the highest standard with exposed timber beams, carved stone sinks, and warm, neutral tones, Chalet Atacama, Val d’Isère makes the most inviting setting for your luxury ski holiday.
On the ground floor, the stunning open plan living area is flooded with light from the full-height windows. Step out onto the terrace and take in wonderful views that stretch from the Isère river to the peaks above. When the sun dips behind the summits, sink into one of the comfortable sofas beside a crackling fire with your pre-dinner kir. With its large table and stylish suspended lighting, the dining area is a magical place to devour the delicious meals included in the ‘contactless catering’ service.
You’ll find three luxurious bedrooms on this floor, each with its own en-suite shower room and TV, and one of which is a children’s bunk room with space for four little ones.
Chalet Atacama’s crowning glory, however, is the master bedroom, which sits on the top floor. Its private seating area is the perfect place to sit with a coffee and soak up the views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. It also enjoys, within the en-suite, a sauna and Jacuzzi bath, where you can soothe aching limbs after an energetic day on the slopes.

The hearty breakfast will set you up for a day of skiing, while on return to the chalet you’ll have a decadent afternoon tea to tide you over until dinner. On six nights of the week, you’ll enjoy a kir apéritif and nibbles followed by three fabulous courses and cheese – not to mention the unlimited wine.
With a convenient location just moments from the pistes and the Fornet gondola, Chalet Atacama is ideal for family groups who need to return to the chalet during the day to feed hungry little ones.
Back at the chalet, kids have their own space in the quad bunk room with its own TV. It’s located on the ground floor so you can keep a watchful eye over them while you relax by the fire.
There’s no need to drag tired children around the resort centre on arrival, as lift passes and ski equipment can be pre-booked, making your first evening hassle-free.
Childcare and ski lessons can also be arranged on request.
