The vacation rental villa BAKEA is a contemporary property located on the heights of Anse des Cayes in front of a beautiful hills and ocean view. Surrounded by a tropical garden and gently blown by the trade winds, this vacation home with heated swimming pool welcomes groups of up to eight people in utmost luxury for an unforgettable stay in St. Barths.
Built over two levels, villa BAKEA was built in a modern architecture and a sleek decor. Under the high vaulted ceilings, the spaces are bright in a refined decor. Furnished with large sofas and coffee tables, the living room is swept by the island’s mild air and opens onto the terrace with pool Through the bay windows, guests can admire the vegetation of St-Barths’ rolling hills. The dining room which can accommodate eight guests is located in the same open space close to the well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. A few hints of wood create a soothing atmosphere, ideal to enjoy the beauty of villa BAKEA’s surroundings.
The Space
Stretching along two stories, each with one wall fully windowed or open to the sea breezes wafting up from the bay, the villa is set up to maximize individual and private spaces. The layout is well suited to both families with teenage or adult children, groups of friends and romance-seeking couples, and Sibarth can enhance the hideaway experience with anything from private fitness sessions to cooking classes in the well-outfitted kitchen.
As you enter villa Bakea, you’re transported to a calm, sleek haven, as a greenery-filled patio and shaded hallway give way to a gracious living room with copious, low-slung couches and a streamlined dining table and chairs. Sunlight dances off the surfaces throughout, thanks to the large windows that form two of the walls. Off to one side of that living and dining room is a full kitchen, and on the other side, the master bedroom which opens both to the deck area and to a private garden, where a stone bathtub awaits. Inside, there’s a spacious shower and large vanity that appears to be floating freely. Within the master bedroom suite there is a small bedroom for kids with a single bed (165 x 65 cm).
But the showstopper up here is the long, graceful slip of a swimming pool. This is where you’ll want to spend your holiday, whether lounging on one of the orange chaises or floating in the warm water above the heated pool’s shimmering tiles. (You can even swim laps if Sibarth’s private chefs or personal grocery shoppers have left you feeling too indulged.)
The lower level comprises a second master bedroom with a lounge, dressing room and small kitchenette, and two identical, smaller with king beds, ensuite bathrooms and private terraces. An intercom system allows communication while ensuring privacy while guests are all ensconced in their own private spaces.
Nothing too fussy, old-fashioned or formal: This is the promise of Bakea.

Please note that you may not bring outside staff into the property under any circumstances unless pre authorized by our concierge team. We are happy to host children of all ages. That being said, it is the responsibility of the guardian or parent to monitor their children AT ALL TIMES to avoid accidents. The house may contain areas where the children may require special surveillance, such as swimming pools, stairs and balconies. In the jungle the presence of mosquitos is usually common, so we recommend bringing mosquito repellent. We also fumigate regularly to help keep the mosquitos at bay.
