The Eco Lodge was built using green technology to be completely self-sufficient, using renewable energy to power itself. And while it’s kind to the environment, its environment is incredibly kind in return, offering simply breath-taking mountain views from almost every room in this luxury ski chalet.
In the light and contemporary living and dining space, floor-to-ceiling windows give you the impression of the Chamonix mountains sloping straight in towards you, sitting comfortably on the sofa. The whole open-plan space has a modern but cosy feel with light woods and neutral shades allowing that astounding view to stand as the focal point of the room.
Five super-comfy and contemporary bedrooms give everyone a relaxing bolthole to retreat to at the end of the day, and there’s plenty of room inside to relax – with high-tech gadgets to enjoy, too. An Apple TV and DVD player to catch a movie on and Sonos sound system to choose from mean you’re never short of entertainment on a chilly afternoon at your luxury ski chalet.
The jewel in this luxury chalet’s crown however, must be its fabulous outdoor facilities. An outdoor hot tub on the terrace has room for up to eight of you to relax, drinks in hand, looking out at the mountain. There’s also a sauna ‘pod’, which has the appearance of ‘hanging’ off the edge of the property, so from inside you can see nothing but the mountain view. And there’s plenty of space for big kids and little kids alike to indulge in snowman-building, toboggan-racing and more. Utterly magical!

Your chef at The Eco Lodge has been carefully selected for their skill, expertise and imaginative way with menus and you can be sure of being well fed here.
Each morning a hearty continental breakfast is served – pastries, cereals, fruit and yoghurt alongside local meats and cheeses and lashings of tea and coffee. Hot breakfasts are cooked to order.
In the afternoon, on your return from the slopes, afternoon tea will be laid out ready for you, with freshly baked, cakes, muffins or cookies with tea and coffee.
On five evenings of seven, your chef will prepare a four-course evening meal. The ingredients are seasonal and sourced locally wherever possible. A selection of local wines are served alongside it.
If you wish, there is also an a la carte wine list (additional cost) with something to suit every taste.
This is certainly a fun chalet for children with plenty of outside space – ideal for snowman building and toboggan racing.
Everything families could need is taken care of – from outdoor toys (toboggans, sleds, shovels and spades) to plenty of space for them to play indoors as well as TVs, board games and toys to keep them entertained. There are also cots and highchairs available.
Nannies and babysitters can be booked on request and staff can also help you with bookings for the kids’ clubs or ski schools.
